Why does it seems like my friends think they are SO much better than me?

ok so last week we all started the 9th grade.
So we would all go to school , bla bla bla and it would be morning and i would just be like oh im so tired!!!
they would be like oh (my name) you have no idea what we need to go through doing soccer and Volley ball not getting home till 7 you may not choose to do your homework but we need to get it done late bla bla bla
it makes me feel like wow are we not in the same honor classes? (cause we are) did we not all take the same regents last year? and for the record i do, do my homework.
they think they are so much better than me just cause they do sports. I would do sports but i chose to not publicly humiliate myself and let down a team cause i am BAD AT SPORTS. just cause they do it doesn’t make them better than me.
i think they also think they are better then me cause they all do chorus, and don’t. why don’t i do it? cause i am tone DEF and cant sing…not really my fault! so they all think they know SO much more about music then me. and i would say they know more about like singing and reading music and stuff but i happen to love music. i spend hours listening to it and reading about bands i like. just because i cant sing doesn’t mean i don’t like music.
i’ll give some examples:
1) so this new show glee just came out. its about singing and stuff and its really funny and i happen to like it.the first episode premiered in may and then its now continuing. so i saw the 1st episode and i happened to like it. so then the rest of the season continues last Wednesday and i had to miss it to go out with my mom. the next day at school everyone is like oo glee so awesome bla bla bal im like oh i had to miss it to do something with my mom. so then the next day at one of my friends house we watch it, and for the first time i am seeing it. so im like ok this show rocks i really like it and then my friends like oh (my name) shut up i like it more than you do?….WTF? she didn’t even see the 1st episode???
2) whenever they go to see Broadway shows and watch them on like movie versions they NEVER invite me cause apparently "i don’t like that stuff" B.S. i happen to enjoy watching musicals, just cause cant see doesn’t mean i don’t like seeing other people sing. and they think they are all better than me cause they’ve seen more shows on Broadway but show tickets are EXPENSIVE! and my mom and dad don’t have time and random money to take me like 4 times a year I’m lucky if i even go once!
3) when it comes time for the spring musical you know they ALL do it and i don’t unless there are some non singing good parts cause obviously im not going to commit that much to a play when i know im going to be an extra cause its really not worth it to get home at 9 just to say 3 lines. but when that time of the year does come they all do it, sept for me but i do come and see their play when its out. to be honest they are ALWAYS talking about it while im there and when i ask about it i always feel so excluded cause its like they are doing all this stuff and im just at home writing or doing monologues or something. something really sad is that they come over my house all day they see all my monologue books and they are like "why do you have them?" im like cause i like acting and i have said that i have a numerous of times they justdon’tt listen to me or pay attention.
I HATE that they think they are better than me! we are all people! ugh WHY do they think they are SO much better and WHAT can i do to make themrealizee that NO your not!

but i just met them all n 7th grade when i cam to this school district and dont get me wrong i love my friends but idk they are so ignorant it should be illegal -_-
I think I’d hate your friends if I knew them. They don’t sound like friend material at all. I don’t want to influence you to ditch them though, as I’m sure you’ve been through a lot of good times with these people. But you should tell them that you dislike the way they constantly treat you and tell them that you’re not afraid to walk out on them because they’re jerks. It might not be a successful idea, but it’ll get them thinking.

They are just too themselves, just act like you don’t care (which you probably don’t) and they should leave you alone. There just being typical miner niners (annoying and all)

Girls are gonna be like that in high school…its all just a popularity contest and a bunch of hormones floating around. High schools usually have a lot of different people, my suggestion is to join a club, activity, or sport and find some new friends with similar interests that arent so judgemental. Although remember, most girls in high school will produce SOME drama…but definitely not as much as it seems you are dealing with.

I know what you mean! my friends make me feel like they are wayy prettier than me and sometimes i feel like they think its like embarrasing to be around me, but when i invite them to NYC with me, they dont seem to mind when i am around, i feel like they think that they are better than me. and recently, we are like falling apart, and i miss hangin with them, but im happy i dont have to deal with them, so maybe its time for you to ditch them, they seem like jerks…
