It is BAH - Basic Allowance for Housing. It will be based on the zip code he resided at when he enlisted. It will be included in his pay. In the Navy it takes up to 6 weeks before the first pay will be paid, it will be backdated to the date he started. It is Basic Pay, BAH and Family Separation ($250 per month) and it is taxed and there is deductions (GI Bill, FSGLI, SGLI, AFRH, advance pay). It will not start until he is actually in Boot camp. He needs to take your marriage certificate, birth certificates (of you and children) and SSN cards with him along with the bank information.

health insurance - Tricare starts as soon as your information is entered into DEERS. You will be enrolled into Standard where there is a yearly deductible and co-pay when you see a civilian provider. When you get an envelope in the mail with information in it around week 4/5 it will include a Form DD1172 which allows you to go the closest military Base or Reserve center and get your ID (you will also need 2 pieces of ID with you including 1 picture). After you get your ID you can changed to Tricare Prime where there is no co-pay or deductible and are seen a military treatment facility (MTF).

Thanks for clearing up the "tie goes to runner"… but he was clearly touching the bag before the first baseman caught the ball… and I think if the umpire is not quite sure, he should give the benefit to the runner… so, the umpire definitely made an error.

Never is there a tie. The runner either beat the throw or he did not. These sandlot rules lead to a lot of ejections in semi-pro and Legion game because players and coaches/managers don’t know the rules.

There’s no such thing as a tie in baseball. Either he beat the throw or he didn’t. If the umpire says he didn’t, then he didn’t.

Edit: I think when in doubt, it’s best for the umpire to rule in favor of the defense. Baseball is unique in that lower scores always make for better games. In football and basketball, low score = boredom. In baseball, low score = excitement and suspense.

The operative word is before. Rephrased - The runner must beat the ball to the base.

ok so last week we all started the 9th grade.

So we would all go to school , bla bla bla and it would be morning and i would just be like oh im so tired!!!

they would be like oh (my name) you have no idea what we need to go through doing soccer and Volley ball not getting home till 7 you may not choose to do your homework but we need to get it done late bla bla bla

it makes me feel like wow are we not in the same honor classes? (cause we are) did we not all take the same regents last year? and for the record i do, do my homework.

they think they are so much better than me just cause they do sports. I would do sports but i chose to not publicly humiliate myself and let down a team cause i am BAD AT SPORTS. just cause they do it doesn’t make them better than me.

i think they also think they are better then me cause they all do chorus, and don’t. why don’t i do it? cause i am tone DEF and cant sing…not really my fault! so they all think they know SO much more about music then me. and i would say they know more about like singing and reading music and stuff but i happen to love music. i spend hours listening to it and reading about bands i like. just because i cant sing doesn’t mean i don’t like music.

i’ll give some examples:

1) so this new show glee just came out. its about singing and stuff and its really funny and i happen to like it.the first episode premiered in may and then its now continuing. so i saw the 1st episode and i happened to like it. so then the rest of the season continues last Wednesday and i had to miss it to go out with my mom. the next day at school everyone is like oo glee so awesome bla bla bal im like oh i had to miss it to do something with my mom. so then the next day at one of my friends house we watch it, and for the first time i am seeing it. so im like ok this show rocks i really like it and then my friends like oh (my name) shut up i like it more than you do?….WTF? she didn’t even see the 1st episode???

2) whenever they go to see Broadway shows and watch them on like movie versions they NEVER invite me cause apparently "i don’t like that stuff" B.S. i happen to enjoy watching musicals, just cause cant see doesn’t mean i don’t like seeing other people sing. and they think they are all better than me cause they’ve seen more shows on Broadway but show tickets are EXPENSIVE! and my mom and dad don’t have time and random money to take me like 4 times a year I’m lucky if i even go once!

3) when it comes time for the spring musical you know they ALL do it and i don’t unless there are some non singing good parts cause obviously im not going to commit that much to a play when i know im going to be an extra cause its really not worth it to get home at 9 just to say 3 lines. but when that time of the year does come they all do it, sept for me but i do come and see their play when its out. to be honest they are ALWAYS talking about it while im there and when i ask about it i always feel so excluded cause its like they are doing all this stuff and im just at home writing or doing monologues or something. something really sad is that they come over my house all day they see all my monologue books and they are like "why do you have them?" im like cause i like acting and i have said that i have a numerous of times they justdon’tt listen to me or pay attention.

I HATE that they think they are better than me! we are all people! ugh WHY do they think they are SO much better and WHAT can i do to make themrealizee that NO your not!

I think I’d hate your friends if I knew them. They don’t sound like friend material at all. I don’t want to influence you to ditch them though, as I’m sure you’ve been through a lot of good times with these people. But you should tell them that you dislike the way they constantly treat you and tell them that you’re not afraid to walk out on them because they’re jerks. It might not be a successful idea, but it’ll get them thinking.

Girls are gonna be like that in high school…its all just a popularity contest and a bunch of hormones floating around. High schools usually have a lot of different people, my suggestion is to join a club, activity, or sport and find some new friends with similar interests that arent so judgemental. Although remember, most girls in high school will produce SOME drama…but definitely not as much as it seems you are dealing with.

But ADHD I believe is caused by one or more combinations of additives in our food preservatives,colourings. enhancers and more, that the food industry adds to induce us to buy more of their product. and because every body is basically different, no two chemicals that cause this problem are the same.
In England the general public approached a manufacturer to stop them from putting a blue colouring in their sweets which the company did and there are no blue ones in the packets that are sold in the U K.
But they are still produced and sold in Australia?

For me, I have ADHD, it helps me get through the day by helping me focus, however, if you don’t have ADHD, its like speed.
Ritalin is fast acting and fast dying as well. I was on 20mg at 6. I got up to 60mg twice daily at 11. Im on different meds since then. Im taking Vyvanse now,

Helps so much.
Im 16 right now, and in my Junior year. It has positive effects on me.
Ritalin messed with my normal body habits at the beginning. When you get regulated after a while on it, its good for the effects of ADHD.
I used to eat everything in sight, (was a chubby child yes) and then the meds took me down from the constant hunger. So really its helpful.

No, I don’t. I’m sure the Clippers are offering enough money to the point where it’s worth Baron’s while either way. He’s a player entering the later years of his career and prone to injury, so I’m sure he’s happy to jump on the right deal that comes his way. Besides, he left a lot of good friends behind in Golden State in the process, which I think says enough. Don’t expect any kind of playoff chances for the Clips this year though, Baron or not.

Davis has already signed so he is stuck with the clippers. I think the Clips can be a playoff contender because they have three pure scorers. BD, Al Thornton, and Gordon. Kamen has gotten better and Livingston should be back at full strength this year. The Clips also can go out and get Josh Smith and that would make them one of the scariest teams in the west because of matchup problems. They will be ok without Brand because the mavs and nuggets will be out of the playoff picture.

No, I don’t. Baron was after longevity not necessarily money. He took a paycut from the 17.8 million GS offered him to join the Clippers. Even if the Clippers are in trouble I don’t see him leaving. Plus BD is at home now and nothing beats that. If he even hinted at backing out now he’d look worse than he already does.

NEW YORK — Shares of FiberTower Corp. took a hit Monday after the wireless access services provider announced an exchange offer for all of its outstanding 9 percent convertible senior secured notes due 2012.

The terms of the offer call for a new chairman for the company.

The company is offering to exchange the notes for other notes that must be redeemed for cash, FiberTower shares and new 9 percent senior secured notes if certain conditions are met.

As part of the terms of the debt exchange offer, the company’s board will be reduced from nine to seven members when those notes are redeemed. Crown Castle’s executive vice chairman, John Kelly, will be named as FiberTower’s chairman. Currently John Beletic serves in the post.

Phil Kelley, Crown Castle’s senior vice president of corporate development, will remain a director. Kurt Van Wagenen, FiberTower’s president and CEO, and Steven D. Scheiwe, president of Ontrac Advisors, also will remain on the board, the company said. More directors will be added after the notes are redeemed, FiberTower added.

If all of the company’s outstanding existing notes are exchanged, and those notes in turn are redeemed, FiberTower said it will pay $14 million in cash and will issue 336.7 million shares (representing about 69 percent of its outstanding shares), as well as $125 million of the new 9 percent notes.

Shares of the San Francisco-based company fell 65 cents, or 46 percent, to 76 cents in afternoon trading. The stock has traded between 7 cents and $1.82 in the past 52 weeks.
